Description

Nos. 14 and 16a Fleet Street are two shops with accommodation above, dating from the late 18th century, late 19th century, and 20th century. They are constructed of colourwashed brick and feature a concrete tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a two-bay front with two doorways, each with overlights and glazing bar doors. These doorways are flanked by single bowed glazing bar shop windows with wooden panelling beneath. Above, there is a continuous bracketed entablature with a moulded cornice, and on the upper floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows.
