Description
A row of four cottages dating to circa 1860, likely designed by Sir G G Scott. The cottages are constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, and have a 20th-century tiled roof. They feature three external buttress stacks topped with red brick. The main block is one-and-a-half storeys high, with a two-storey cross wing projecting to the east and a two-storey cross wing to the west. Each cottage has a stone porch with a stone-coped gable and kneelers. The ground floor windows are mostly plain lancets with relieving arches, consisting of three and four panes. Above these are two-light plain lancets, with three set within gabled dormers. A similar two-light plain lancet is present on the second floor of the west wing.
