Description

The building at 49-55 Eastgate is an early 19th-century brick structure with a Welsh slate roof. It comprises two storeys. The upper floor features one segmental-arched window in each bay, with modern glazing, though the window at number 53 is blocked. The ground floor has one window in each bay, each with a modern brick flat arch over the doorway, and modern doors. A segmental-arched doorway is present at number 53. Foot scrapers are also visible. The building is included on the list principally as part of a group with numbers 43-65 (odd) Eastgate, and numbers 1-6 (consecutive) Kingston Terrace.
