Description
Nocton Rise Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate hipped roof with two white brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway is flanked by square pilasters and an entablature, and it contains a four-panelled door with a rectangular overlight. On either side of the doorway are single slayed bay windows. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes with projecting ashlar lintels supported by carved brackets. At the rear, there is an earlier three-storey wing that has various sliding casements.
