Description
Morton Manor is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on Morton Lane in Swinderby. The building is constructed of red brick and features a pantile ridge roof with a single brick stack. It has three bays and is two stories high. The central doorway is framed by thin pilasters that are topped with brackets, supporting an open pediment. The door itself is a four-fielded panel design with a rectangular fanlight that includes marginal lights. On the ground floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows set beneath segmental heads made of brick voussoirs. Above, there are three additional glazing bar sash windows under flat heads of brick voussoirs. The building is finished with a corbelled cornice.
