Description

Swinderby Station South is a railway station built around 1850. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate ridge roof with steep gable ends that have barge boards, overhanging eaves, and a decorated eaves cornice. The building has a blue brick plinth. The central gabled section projects slightly and contains two semi-circular headed windows with diamond and hexagonal pairs. On either side of this section are single semi-circular headed doorways with chamfered arches.
