Description
Morton Grange is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables. The building has one gable and one ridge stack. Notable architectural details include a first-floor brick band and a decorated eaves cornice. The structure consists of three main bays with an additional single bay added to the east. The off-centre doorway has a moulded brick surround, which is topped with a cornice supported by brackets. There is one window on the west side and two on the east side, all of which are flush sliding casements set beneath segmental brick arches. Above these, there are four sliding casements under flat brick arches. Inside, there are chamfered beams, one of which is dated 1682.
