Description
Jessup Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage constructed of red brick, featuring a pantile ridge roof and three brick stacks, two of which are located at the gables. The building has three bays and is one and a half stories tall, with a brick dentil eaves cornice. The doorway is off center and consists of a four-fielded panel door, sheltered by a 19th-century wooden open gabled porch with a slate roof. There is a single window on either side of the door, both of which are casements set under segmental heads with brick voussoirs. Above the main structure, there is a three-light box dormer. To the north, there is a small lean-to extension with a pantile roof, and to the south, there is a single-storey outbuilding, also with a pantile ridge roof.
