Description

Skellingthorpe Hall is a small country house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with a shallow hipped slate roof and wide, oversailing eaves. The two-storey north-west entrance front features a stone porch with Doric pilasters and fluted columns in antis, framing a door with a glazed surround. The south-west front is three bays wide, with two square bay windows on the ground floor, featuring pilasters and an entablature, and sash windows. Above are three glazing bar sashes. The south-east front has four bays with four glazing bar sashes on both the ground floor and upper level; the ground floor sashes have external louvred shutters.
