Description

Manor House, dating from the early 19th century, is constructed of white brick with a low-pitched slate roof featuring wide, oversailing eaves. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with the central bay projecting slightly and topped by a pediment. The central doorway is surrounded by a round-headed, rusticated design, with a three-panelled door and a semi-circular fanlight above. A semi-circular portico supported by four Tuscan columns leads to the entrance; the columns support a Doric entablature and a domed lead roof. Single glazing bar sash windows are positioned on either side of the portico, above which are three further glazing bar sashes. All windows have flat heads with brick voussoirs; the upper windows have external louvred sashes.
