Description

A pair of houses dating from around 1860, located on Lindum Terrace in Lincoln. The houses are constructed of gault brick with red brick and stone dressings, and have hipped slate roofs with a ridge stack. The design incorporates a chamfered plinth, bands marking the first and second floors, eaves bands, and deep eaves. They are three storeys high and three bays wide, with a square plan. The upper floors feature margin-light sashes.

The south front has a hipped wing on the right with a canted bay window and balcony railing, and a square bay window on the left. To the right of the square bay is a recessed entrance bay with a round-arched doorway, keystone, and Ionic columns. To the left is a simpler doorway, both with fanlights. Above the recessed entrance bay on the right is a square bay window with a crest and a triple sash; to the left, there are two sashes. Above that, there are three sashes. The set-back entrance bays on each side have a single sash window on each floor. The interior has not been inspected.
