Description
A mid-19th century terrace of three houses located on Danesgate, Lincoln. The houses are constructed of grey brick with stone dressings, and have slate roofs punctuated by two coped gable stacks. The terrace features a first-floor band and dentilled eaves. Each house is two storeys high with an attic, and six bays wide. Each house has a projecting doorcase with a round arched opening, a keystone, a cornice supported on brackets, a moulded four-panel door, and a fanlight above. A segment arched casement with a keystone is also present in the doorcase. Above the door is a narrow stair light and a two-light casement. Above that level is a gabled dormer window. Number 49, the house to the left of the terrace, is a mirror image of houses 51 and 53. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
