Description
Said to have been built as lifeboatmen's cottages, these mid to late 19th century buildings are a terrace row of two-storey cottages. They are rendered and topped with a Welsh slate roof. Each cottage has one window on both storeys, except for No 1, which features two hung sash windows with glazing bars. Each cottage also has a gabled porch with a Welsh slate roof and a round-headed door consisting of five panels, with the upper two panels fielded (glazed in No 1). The porches have round-headed recesses on the sides. There are five brick stacks with a dentil cornice and one rendered stack. No 1 is painted at the front and rendered at the rear, while the other cottages are painted brick. The rear windows are sliding sash.
