Description

The former Market Hall, built in 1764 and now used as shops and a garage, is located on the south side of Spilsby High Street. The building features colourwashed brick and a pantile roof, with a first-floor band and a brick dentillated cornice. The gable end facing the Market Place has a 20th-century shop front. Above this, there is a central semi-circular headed fixed light, flanked by sash windows, with the left window being a smaller 19th-century plain sash. The attic floor includes a smaller semi-circular headed light, flanked by single fixed lights. The side fronts have five semi-circular headed arches that were originally open but are now glazed, with five glazing bar sashes above them.
