Description

The Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century and early 20th century. It features a mud and stud construction that is partly covered in brick and raised by four courses. The roof is made of corrugated iron and has a central brick chimney stack. The building has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey with a garret, presenting a three-bay front. The central entrance has a boarded door, with a three-light glazing bar sash window to the left and a very small two-light stair window, along with a two-light similar window to the right. There is also a lean-to timber shed on the right side. Inside, the cottage retains traces of the timber stud construction and small chamfered beams.
