Description

The Old Chapel is a former Baptist chapel, now a house, founded in 1690 and altered around 1776, with further changes in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped pantile roof. The building is two stories tall with a three-bay front. The central entrance is a 20th-century door, flanked by glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all with cambered heads. At the rear, there is a single-storey addition from the 19th century. The interior has lost most of its original fittings, except for the staircase leading to the former gallery.
