Description
Manor House is a late 18th-century house with minor 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a stone-coped slate roof with two gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands three storeys high with a five-bay front. There is a plinth and a central six-panelled door that has a traceried fanlight with wood panelled reveals. The doorcase is adorned with an open dentillated pediment supported by Tuscan columns, and it is flanked by pairs of margin light sash windows. The first floor has five similar windows, while the second floor features five smaller, similar windows. All windows are topped with flat rubbed brick arches. Inside, the house retains its shutters and doors, and in the right-hand room, there is a moulded wooden fire surround. The Manor House is set on a moated site.
