Description
The Old Inn is an early 19th-century building that has been converted into a cottage. It is constructed of whitewashed red brick and features a hipped pantile roof with overhanging eaves. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a doorway that has a panelled door. To the right of the doorway are two glazing bar sash windows, all of which are set under segmental arches on the ground floor. On the upper floor, there are two similar sash windows, along with a single Yorkshire sash window to the left, all positioned under flat arches. Attached to the left side of the main building is a single-storey plus garret wing, also made of whitewashed brick and pantile, which has a single bay and an external red brick gable stack. This wing features a single segmental arched glazing bar sash window and two circular tie plates.
