Description

Limepits Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse, altered in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof featuring raised brick coped tumbled gables and two gable stacks. The building has a parallel range plan. The two-storey, plus garret, front facade is four bays wide, with a dentilated brick eaves course. An off-centre door is sheltered by a late 19th-century gabled porch, which has a semi-circular headed outer door with a plain fanlight and semi-circular headed sidelights, one to the left and two to the right. To the left of the entrance is a single glazing bar sash window, and to the right are two glazing bar sashes. The first floor has four glazing bar sashes. All windows are set within segmental brick heads.
