Description

The Pigeoncote to Manor Farm is an early 16th-century structure built from small red bricks in English bond. It features a facetted slate roof adorned with red clay hip tiles and a 19th-century turret that contains flight holes, topped with a facetted lead roof. The building has an octagonal plan and stands two stories tall. The only entrance is located on the east side, consisting of a low opening with a triangular head. Three sides of the structure have a single high-level opening with double chamfered reveals and a Tudor arched head. The original roof timbers are intact, and two-thirds of the original brick boxes with ledges remain.
