Description
North Reston Hall is a farmhouse built in the late 17th century, with early 19th century additions and 20th century alterations. The building is constructed of painted brick and features pantile and slate roofs, with one ridge and two rendered wall stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and is two stories tall with a six-bay front that includes first floor and eaves bands. The entrance is an off-centre six-panelled door, which is framed by a 20th century architrave and covered by a 20th century Ionic porch. To the left of the door, there are three glazing bar sash windows, and to the right, there are two similar windows. The first floor has three additional sash windows. To the left, there is a single-storey two-bay unit with a six-panelled door and a glazing bar sash window, which has been partly rebuilt in the 20th century. To the right, there is a three-storey early 19th century range with a hipped slate roof, featuring a canted bay on the ground floor, a sash window on the first floor, and a fixed light window on the second floor, both with glazing bars.
