Description

This is a table tomb located 7 paces south of the chancel of the Church of St. Helen, dating from around 1790. It commemorates Gilbert Bayfield, who died in 179-. The tomb is constructed of ashlar and features a tomb chest with raised and fielded side panels. It is adorned with moulded angle balusters and has a flat ledger slab on top.
