Description

Number 14 is a house with railings, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with a brick-coped gable and two brick gable stacks. The house is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The entrance has a half-glazed door with a fluted surround and a panel above it. To the right, there is a canted bay window with plain sashes, pilasters, and a hipped lead roof. To the left, a tripartite sash window is present. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sashes with rendered lintels. In front of the house, there are five cast iron columns with mushroom knops and chains, made by Gibson of Stamford.
