Description

The Vicarage is a mid-18th century vicarage with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The main part of the building is two storeys and three bays wide, featuring a plinth, a band at the first floor level, and a dentillated eaves course from the 19th century. The central front doorway has a half-glazed door within a wooden, pilastered surround and a plain pediment above. Flanking the door are single, plain sash windows of Venetian style. The first floor has three plain sash windows. To the right is a two-storey, three-bay 19th century service block with three casement windows on the ground floor and two similar windows on the first floor. Inside, the left-hand side retains dado panelling, while the right-hand side features a bolection moulded marble fire surround.
