Description
Church Farmhouse is an early 18th century farmhouse that stands two storeys high with attics. It is constructed of red brick and features a steep-pitched pantile roof, which has brick coping at the gable ends. The gable ends also have attic windows and brick stacks. The building is three bays wide, with a late 19th century gabled brick porch at the center that is two storeys tall and has a window above the door. On either side of the porch, there are sash windows without glazing bars set in segmental headed brick openings on both storeys. To the right, there is a lower two-storeyed late 19th century wing with one window. At the rear, there is an outshut and attached outbuildings. The farmhouse is home to the Bratoft collection of Lincolnshire farm life. Church Farmhouse, along with the former farm building and stables, forms a group of local interest.
