Description
Horncastle Farmers' Club is a former posting inn, built around 1860 with 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of red brick with limestone ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with gable stacks. It has a three-storey, three-bay front. To the right, there is a carriage arch with an ashlar dressed basket arch, raised keystone, and double plank doors. On the left, there is a doorway with an ashlar wedge lintel and raised keystone, leading to a glazed door with an overlight and single narrow flanking lights. To the left of the doorway, there is a tripartite glazing bar sash window. Above, there are three glazing bar sash windows, with three more glazing bar sashes directly above them. All windows have ashlar wedge lintels with voussoirs. The building is included for its group value only.
