Description
The war memorial in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter and St Paul is a former churchyard cross and sundial, dating from 1600 and 1919. It is made of ashlar stone. The memorial features a square base with facetted upper angles and corner stops, which bears consecutive incised numbers related to its function as a sundial. At the top, there is a Latin inscription along with the date 1600. Above this, a tapering square shaft has rolled angles and run-out stops. The upper part, added in 1919, culminates in a gabled Crucifixus.
