Description

Bridge Number 10, also known as Station Bridge, was built around 1805, likely designed by John Rennie. It is constructed of red brick and features gritstone coping. The bridge has a single span with an elliptical brick arch, a brick band, and a central panel that is recessed. The end piers have curved parapets. In the center of the arch, there is a cast iron plate displaying the bridge number in raised letters. This bridge is part of a series on the Hobhole Drain, which was established by John Rennie during the drainage of the Fens.
