Description
A terrace of four houses located on High Street, Boston, built in the late 18th century with minor alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The houses are constructed of red/brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with pantile roofs, brick copings, and two gable and two ridge brick stacks.
The exterior presents a three-storey, four-bay frontage, featuring a moulded fascia. Each property has a single door and window on the ground floor. Number 119 has a six-panel door with a plain overlight, a pilastered doorcase, and to the right, a plain tripartite sash window. Number 121 features a half-glazed door with a three-pane overlight and a fluted pilastered doorcase, alongside a 19th-century three-light shop window to its right. Number 123 has a six-panel door, a three-pane overlight and a 20th-century two-light bow window adapted from an earlier 19th-century one. Number 125 has a half-glazed 20th-century door with a narrow surround, and a slightly canted 19th-century bow window to its left. The first floor contains four tripartite sash windows, and the second floor four smaller, similar windows. Number 123 has glazing bars. All window openings are topped with rubbed brick segmental arches. The interior of the properties was not inspected.
