Description

This is a pair of houses and a shop, built in the late 18th century and altered in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed of red/brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The right-hand bay and the side wall are rendered. The roofs are slate-covered, and there is a single gable stack.

The three-storey, three-bay front has a plain parapet. The central bay contains a 20th-century half-glazed door set within a plain pilastered surround, topped with a narrow hood supported by brackets. To the right is a 19th-century shop front featuring narrow pilasters, carved brackets, a narrow cornice, and a blind box. To the left is a margin-light sash window. The first floor has three margin-light sashes, and the second floor has three similar sashes. These sash windows are topped with flat, wedge-rubbed brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
