Description

The house at 4 Union Place dates to approximately 1800. It is constructed of red brick with a painted pebble-dash render finish, and has a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks. The house is two stories and three bays wide, with the central bay projecting slightly. The central doorway features a six-panel door with an overlight, surrounded by a wooden pilaster surround and a flat hood. To either side of the doorway are single plain sash windows, and above are three similar sash windows. To the right of the main block is a single-story, three-bay wing with a single plain sash window, a casement window, and a round-headed doorway.
