Description

This is a terrace of five houses, numbered 6 to 10, located on Witham Place in Boston. The terrace was built in the late 18th century, with minor alterations made in the 19th century. It is now used as residential accommodation, including flats.

The houses are constructed of red/brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a pantile roof and five brick ridge stacks. The three-story facade has a parapet and is ten bays wide, arranged in a symmetrical 2:2:2:2:2 pattern. Each house has a six-panelled door with an overlight, set within a wooden doorcase featuring Tuscan half-columns, a triglyph frieze, dentilled details, and a pedimented hood. Number 7 has a flat hood instead of a pediment. Above each door is a sash window. The first floor has ten sash windows, and the second floor has ten smaller sash windows. All windows have flat brick arches and margin lights, except for the windows in number 7, which are plain sashes.

The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
