Description

This is an early 19th-century building on Lower Church Street. It is a large block with a rounded corner facing the churchyard. The building is constructed of red brick with a stucco plinth, a decorative band at the first floor level, a cornice, and a blocking course. The roof is not visible. It is three storeys high, with five windows facing Lower Church Street, one window in the rounded southern corner, and an additional window facing into the churchyard. The windows are barred sash windows with incised stucco lintels and keystones. There were originally paired doorways to the north, the northern arch now containing a sash window and a single door to the south. These doorways are set within stucco panels with cornices above moulded archivolts, keystones, and pilasters. The doorways have round-arched fanlights.
