BREEDON-ON-THE-HILL BREEDON HILL Headstone to Francis Doleman, approximately 12 metres south of Church of St Mary and St Hardulph

GV II Headstone to Francis Doleman, d.1702, aged 4. Swithland slate. Back is carved with elaborate initials FD, and following verse:

'Like Birds of prey Death snatcht away, This harmless Dove. Whose soul so pure, Is now secure In Heaven above.'
