Description
The Church of the Holy Trinity is a parish church dating from the early 14th century, built in the local style using grey-green sandstone. It features a west tower topped with a short recessed spire and adorned with gargoyles. The church has a nave with three bays, a north aisle, and a chancel that lacks a chancel arch, along with a north chapel. The windows exhibit curvilinear decorated tracery, which has been renewed. Inside, there is a single nave arcade and a 15th-century timber screen in the north chapel, which was relocated from the chancel and includes panels of foliate tracery. The font, which likely predates the church, is a ribbed block similar to one found in Ibstock. The church underwent significant restoration in the 19th century.
