Description
This lodge dates from around 1860 and was built in a picturesque Gothic style. It’s composed of a complex arrangement of towers, turrets, pavilions, and gables, constructed from red brick with yellow brick detailing. The roof is covered in fishscale slate, and features finials and cresting. The lodge is primarily single-storied, with grouped lancet windows, often adorned with hood moulds, and also featuring traceried windows. An octagonal tower is located to the west, incorporating a high plinth, lancet windows, and a battlemented top.
