Description
Beresford House is a former farmhouse, now converted into three flats, dating from the late 18th century. It has a style similar to that of a manor house and features Flemish bond brickwork. The building has a three-storey double pile plan with a symmetrical facade, which has been modified by the addition of some windows. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door topped by an arched decorated fanlight, framed by a doorcase with Doric columns and an open pediment. A short string course on either side of the doorway connects it to small windows on both sides. There is one 16-light sash window on each side of the door, each with stone fret arched heads and keystones. The upper storey is of low height, and the roof is hipped with a very low pitch.
