Description

Odstone Hill Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse built with a design intended to resemble a country house. It is constructed of stucco, lined to resemble ashlar, with a hipped slate roof and stuccoed stacks behind the ridge. The three-story house has a sill band below the first-floor windows and an over-sailing moulded cornice; the second floor windows are smaller in scale. The front facade is regular, with three windows, and features a slightly projecting, pedimented central bay. It has tripartite sash windows with horns, featuring glazing bars. The central entrance has a nine-panel door with raised and fielded panels, glazed upper lights, and is flanked by Doric pilasters and an open pediment containing a fanlight with webbed glazing bars. Two steps lead to the front door. Single-story, single-bay pavilions are set back on each side of the house, with the one on the right having a hipped roof and a louvre.

Inside, on the back wall of the right-hand front room are three round-headed niches, the central one being larger than the others.
