Description
No 150 High Street is a late 18th-century farmhouse built with Flemish bond brickwork. It has three storeys and a symmetrical facade featuring five bays. The central bay is highlighted by a recessed arch that extends the full height of the house, topped with an open pediment. The eaves cornice is decorated with dentils. The central doorway has a semi-circular fanlight with decoration, positioned beneath an open pediment supported by Doric columns. The windows are three-light casements that are flush with the external wall, featuring wood mullions and transoms, with the lower central opening being a side-hung casement. There are some blank window spaces to the left of the facade. At the rear on the east side, there is a small brick farm building with one and a half storeys, decorated with blank recessed semi-circular arches and segmental arched openings.
