Description

The Manor House is a house, largely dating to the mid-18th century, though it may incorporate an earlier structure. The exterior is rough cast, with a thin slate roof and 19th-century yellow brick chimneys featuring decorative chimney pots, possibly made locally. The house has two storeys and five bays arranged unevenly. A double door with a rectangular fanlight is recessed within a porch. The windows are sixteen-light sash windows. Axial and gable chimneys are present. A small wing extends to the left of the main house, beyond which is a two-and-a-half-story block constructed of rough cast brick, with a central stack and casement windows featuring segmental arched heads. The house is oriented away from the village street. To the rear, there are various 19th-century gables and wings.
