Description

No. 86 High Street is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has been heightened, reroofed, and had its windows changed at a later date. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a slate roof. The building has a three-unit layout with a cross passage plan, and the lower unit may be a later addition. It includes six-light sash windows with segmental arched heads, which may have originated from earlier window openings. The door has moulded architraves, and there is a lower extension to the right.
