Description

The Old Blacksmith's House is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and features a plinth. The gable faces the road, and the building has two storeys with an attic. The gable facade includes a two-light chamfered mullioned attic window. The other windows are casements with brick arched heads that have replaced the original openings, although traces of the jambs are still visible. The doorway on the gable end has a brick cambered head.

On the Church Lane facade, there is a chamfered plinth and two blocked two-light mullioned windows on the first floor. There are indications that the roof has been heightened.
