Description

This is a late 18th-century house, later divided into three flats. It is located on High Street, Kegworth. The building is constructed of red brick on a rendered plinth, with the right gable also rendered. It has a plain tile roof and brick chimneys. The house is three storeys high and originally three bays wide, with dentil eaves. The windows are mostly three-pane sashes, with those on the ground floor renewed in the 20th century. The ground and first floor windows have gauged brick heads, painted white, while the top floor windows are square. A six-panelled door, with an ornamental semicircular fanlight, is set within a wooden doorcase featuring simple pilasters and an open pediment and is approached by three stone steps. Rear extensions date from the 19th and 20th centuries.
