Description

Manor Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of ironstone rubble with brick detailing, limestone ashlar dressings, and a Swithland slate roof. The building has a chamfered plinth, bands to the first and second floors, rusticated quoins, and two brick gable stacks. It is arranged over three storeys and consists of a three-bay front with an L-shaped rear wing. The south front features a central six-panel door with a fanlight, flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes. Above, there are three twelve-pane glazing bar sashes, and above again, three six-pane glazing bar sashes, all with rusticated surrounds. The rear wing, to the east, has a blocked opening flanked by single sliding sashes with segmental heads, and above, two similar sashes.
