Description

Normanton House is a brick farmhouse dating to around 1800. It is located on the west side of Main Street, Bottesford, and was originally on Normanton Lane. The brick construction incorporates some ironstone to the south end, and the roof is covered in black glazed pantiles. The building is two storeys high with four irregular bays. A gabled porch was added in the late 20th century, positioned to the left of the centre. South of the porch is a single renewed casement window. To the north, there are two renewed casement windows. Four casement windows on the first floor have also been renewed in the 20th century and are set beneath straight lintels. The roof is gabled, with a ridge stack situated to the right of the centre, and internal gable-end stacks.
