Description

Two houses stand on Station Road in Market Bosworth, dating to the late 18th century. Constructed of brick, they feature roofs of Swithland slate. Each house is three storeys and has a single-unit plan. Each has a doorway on the right side, above which is a round-arched, plastered tympanum. A 2-light casement window is located alongside the doorway. Number 11 retains a 2-light wood mullion and transomed window with flat, splayed heads, though the corresponding window on Number 9 has been replaced. Upper floors are punctuated by 2-light casement windows, each set within a vertical brick head. Chimneys rise against the right-hand wall of each dwelling. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.
