Description
The Lovelace Memorial, located approximately 30 metres south of the Church of All Saints, is a tomb monument dated 1853. It features a Neo-Gothic aedicule with triple banded shafts leading to a cusped arch, which is topped with a gable that has crockets and a finial. The back wall of the memorial includes inscriptions dedicated to Ada Augusta Lovelace, who died in 1852. The opening is enclosed by iron railings designed by Voysey, which have finials and an inscription inlaid on a copper background that reads, "ERECTED BY HER MOTHER A I NOEL BYRON MDCCCLIII."
