Description

This is a row of three houses, now shops on the ground floor, dating from the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with plain tiled roofs. They are three storeys high. Numbers 1 and 3 each have two bays, with 20th-century shop fronts featuring slight architraves and panelled rebates. Number 3a is similar, but with two doorways on the ground floor, one leading to a passage at the rear. A projecting sill band and moulded eaves cornices are present on all three buildings. The upper windows vary; Number 1 has 4-light mullioned and wood mullioned and transomed windows, while Numbers 3 and 3a have 12-pane windows with central pivoted openings. Axial stacks are also visible.
