Description

The remains of a chapel, dating from the late 13th century, are located at the Manor House on the south side of High Street in Tur Langton. The structure features coursed rubble stone and dressed stone. Notable elements include a north doorway with moulded imposts, a single chamfered arch, and a hood mould. Only a fragment of the north wall of the nave remains. This chapel was largely dismantled when the Church of St. Andrew was constructed in 1866. The site is also recognized as a scheduled ancient monument.
