Description
The White House Farmhouse is a house built around 1830. It features a red brick structure with a hipped roof made of Welsh slate and brick stacks at each end. The front of the house has a brick plinth and faces to the right. It is two storeys high and has three sash windows on each floor, with configurations of 4/8, 3/6, and 4/8. On the ground floor, there is an 8/8 sash window on either side of a gabled porch made of painted wooden lattice work, which has a part-glazed door. There are two stone steps leading up to the porch. The windows are adorned with painted stone lintels and sills. On the left end of the house, which faces the road, there are 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows on both floors, featuring cambered lintels. Additionally, there is a one-storey extension on the right end of the building.
